Skyrim downloading mods more than i play them

You can't download mods unless you are in the mod section. Fast forward to now, eight years after I first chased that Thomas the Tank Engine modded dragon. My relationship with my girlfriend is over, my relationship with Skyrim is not.

My housemates and I recently split the cost of an Xbox Series S , and thanks to Game Pass, we have Skyrim, the game that just keeps on getting released. Fortunately, I did find a complete load order on Reddit - which has since been deleted - so I went through it and oh my God it takes so long to search for mods using a controller. The list I found on Reddit has over mods on it, ranging from big perk and race overhauls to little graphical improvements and performance optimisations.

I skipped the section that added very niche and specific textures, like the Lockpick Interface Texture Pack or the Scary Atronachs mod. Install Steam. Store Page. Global Achievements. So recently I have purchased SSE since the steam summer sales has just started. The main reason I bought this game was for the cool mods. So I went on Nexus and browsed the mods that were available, and realized that the original Skyrim modding community has so many more mods than SSE. So my question is should I just get the original Skyrim for those mods or should I wait to see if more mods come out for SSE.

I just want to play all of the amazing mods that the modding community has in store. Showing 1 - 9 of 9 comments. Mods often require other mods to work. If you don't have their 'master files', your game won't run.

What did you download exactly? Does your mod manager show any error messages or something next to the mods you have enabled? Its either that, or you downloaded a bad mod that just makes that happen no matter what. You should normally read the comments section for a mod before downloading it.

Other users will normally report any issues they've had with the mod, giving you a possible warning about what might happen. Like Blackwolf said it's either you don't have the mods you need for the mods you have Mostly likely the case or bad files from one of the mods you do have.
